For Sale (Already!?): 1992 Acura Integra LS Sedan 5-Speed

Guess what! The universe works in mysterious ways.
After lost sleep, a little blood, lots of sweat, and perhaps a tear or two, I’m already parting with my latest Acura-quisition to make room for one that’s a little more desirable. While I certainly had no intentions of making another car change so soon (literally, only 2 months later), I was in Las Vegas this past weekend for WestFest when I got an email from my Miata-loving friend, Jeff. He told me about a cream puff Integra GS he’d found on craigslist in my hometown of St. George, Utah.
The GS, for starters, was the highest trim level for the Integra sedan that year – rolling in options like a moonroof, alloy wheels, and an anti-lock braking system. Best of all, this specific Integra has a remarkable 71,000 original miles on it. How is that even possible? That comes out to only 2,700 miles per year over the course of 26 years. Apparently some people don’t drive like I do. Here’s the only teaser I’ll give for now.
I’ll delve into the details on the NEW (old?) ride in a future post and video, but for now, it’s time to bid farewell to the car I worked so hard to purchase, transport, and make my own. But of course! 5-speed all the way. I just emailed you a picture of the new one. It’s currently in Las Vegas at a dealership, getting a new fuel pump, but I’m crossing fingers it’s ready to pick up by Saturday and bring home. I’ll have twins at the house for a short period. As if I weren’t crazy enough already.

Yeah, thanks Jason! Well I’m close to breaking even on the original cost of the car, but then I spent: $900 in auction fees, $1,000 on maintenance, $350 on PDR work, $200 on tint, plus several hundred in travel & logistics to get the car home. So yeah, it has a ways to go until I’m in the black. LOL

The walkaround video was very thorough and detailed, every seller should do this, it’d make car buying so much easier. I think that’s the first time we’ve seen the PDR on that rear door? Your dent specialist must be a pretty talented bloke! Here’s hoping you break even on the car – and more importantly – that the car finds another owner that will appreciate the car as much as you have during your short time with it. Looking forward to reading and seeing some pics on the newly-acquired GS! Congratulations!

Thanks Adam! Yeah when I set out to create the for-sale ad for the LS, I wanted to be as thorough as possible so I wouldn’t have to answer a lot of repeated questions. So far it seems to have done the trick; I’ve only had 1 request for an additional photo of the VIN sticker in the driver door jamb (which was something I should have included anyway). I am excited to share the new GS with you all. Hope you have a great weekend!

Happy trails (already) to the LS! The auction listing looks great and completely transparent — so many photos and details about the car. The lucky bidder will know everything about their new ride before even seeing it in person. As for the other cars in your garage, do you think they’re starting to look over their fenders after all the turnover recently? 😀

Haha, I know, I’ve had some buying & selling fun in the last year or so. TL-S, Infiniti I30, now the Integra LS. It’s a fun hobby but sort of stressful – like you said, I try really hard to cover allllll the nitty gritty details. LS is getting a good reception so far, with bids at $3,333. Hope you’re enjoying Bimmerland!
