Hard to believe it’s been 5 years since the day I drove to Acura’s headquarters in Torrance, California and rolled onto the red carpet with 500,000.1 miles on the odometer in my 1994 Legend coupe. I’m now 48,850 more miles down the highway in that car and don’t plan on retiring it any time soon. Many thanks to those of you who have been along for the ride from the beginning, as well as those who came onboard more recently!
I’m catching a flight this afternoon to Orlando, Florida for this year’s NSXPO event. More to come on that soon.
Have a great weekend!

Have fun at NSXPO!

Haha, you’re a nerd! And thanks — you KNOW I will!

Ohhh that NSX!! Have fun on your trip.

Thanks Joe! Rare for me to be hopping on a plane but I simply don’t have time to road trip to Orlando this weekend. Darn it all! Hope you have a great weekend.

Nice week-long parade of your cars! The Cubs parade going on is pretty swell too. W

That’s what I heard! I’ve been getting some photos from my friend Andrew out there and the celebration is ongoing. Cheers to that!

Love the Acura a Day Work Week!

Haha, I couldn’t resist the opportunity. Luckily I don’t have to register ALL the cars with my work parking garage. As long as I swipe in with my work ID, I can park anything I want in there.

Parking beside a wall to minimize door dings? I appreciate that very much. Is it an assigned spot that you requested, or did you just scope it out and claim it as your own?
Safe travels, sir.

Thanks Tim! The parking spots at work are not assigned. I just scoped that one out and liked it, for the reasons you mentioned. Plus it happens to always be available around 7:00 in the morning when I arrive at the office. Hope you’ve had a great weekend!

“Enders” especially at the right end of a row truly are my preferred place to park. Really does minimize those pesky door dings since most ppl do drive solo…
Little surprised you’re no driving to Florida but then again why jeopardize the NSX on such a long trip?
November 6, 2016 at 1:23 pm
I would’ve loved to drive the NSX out to Orlando but I simply didn’t have enough time off. The trip was a success nonetheless. I’m now at the airport awaiting my return flight. I’ll sort through my photos soon and post a write-up. Hope your weekend has been enjoyable!

Lovely stuff! I am very envious!
November 6, 2016 at 1:24 pm
Thank you, Dany!

Without the ILX and other cars you could easily have about 725,000 on the coupe now!
November 6, 2016 at 1:24 pm
Yes yes. Very easily. Maybe I should have done that instead!
November 6, 2016 at 2:35 pm
Time to retire the ILX and get this up to a million!
November 7, 2016 at 4:56 pm
Nooo! I like changing it up! Though, arguably, my collection isn’t very diverse at all!

nice corner spot you have there. 😉

Thanks Carlos! I think I picked a good one 🙂
